The Designer

From my very first steps in the world of design, I was interested not simply in creating objects, but in giving form to emotions, memories and stories.

I studied Product Design in Athens and later received a scholarship to pursue my Master’s degree at Domus Academy in Milan. That experience was transformative. I met internationally acclaimed designers who spoke with honesty about their journeys, their struggles and their truths.

Those encounters encouraged me to return to Greece and dare to become an active part of the Greek design scene — shaping my own voice within it.

In 2013, I co-founded the design brand Lommer, born from a deep love for materials and experimentation. Through Lommer, our work received international recognition, including the Silver A’ Design Award (2016) and the International Design Award – IDA (2017).

In 2022, I chose to close that chapter and follow a more personal and independent creative path.

For me, design is never just technique. It is dialogue. It is observation. It is the moment when a material “asks” to be transformed.

Today, my inspiration comes from the materials themselves — from their textures, imperfections, colors and the stories they carry. From a vintage fabric that feels like home. From an object that has lived before being reborn.

Motherhood has opened new spaces within me. It led me to discover aspects of myself I didn’t know, and to see memory, time and objects with a deeper respect for their uniqueness, an awareness that profoundly shapes the way I create.

I’m constantly searching for balance between old and new.
Classic and pop.
Timeless and unexpected.

Through this meeting, each creation becomes a small narrative — an object with soul, connecting memory with the present and reminding us that nothing truly ends; it simply changes form.
