A dramatic composition of layers and light.
The shade is crafted from a garment textile with velvet motifs set against a sheer ground. Beneath it, a second fabric in warm yellow and orange tones subtly alters the atmosphere: when illuminated, the piece releases a soft amber glow — in contrast to the cooler blue exterior. The interior is lined with white PVC, allowing the light to diffuse evenly.
The base is wrapped in deep orange velour, grounding the piece with warmth and richness. The hand-cut ruff collar — constructed in double fabric — introduces movement and theatricality. On the outside, grey-blue canvas adds structure; on the inside, a black-and-white cotton polka dot lining reveals a playful contrast.
Ornate yet controlled.
